RULES

Time: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Team Rules:
➢ Each team must consist of exactly 3 members.
➢ Team members must belong to the same institution/department (if applicable).
➢ A participant can be part of only one team.
➢ Team details must be submitted during registration.
Event Rules:
➢ The hackathon duration is 8 hours continuous (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM).
➢ Spot registration will be open from 8:00 AM – 8:30 AM.
➢ All teams must complete registration before the event starts.
➢ The theme/problem statement will be announced on the spot.
➢ Teams must work only on the given theme/problem statement.
➢ Coding and development must start only after the theme announcement.
Development Rules:
➢ Use of open-source libraries, APIs, and frameworks is permitted.
➢ Pre-written code, pre-built projects, or pre-developed models are strictly prohibited.
➢ The project must be original and developed during the hackathon only.
➢ Internet usage is allowed unless restricted by the organizers.
➢ Teams must bring their own laptops, chargers, and required tools.
AI / Tool Usage Policy:
➢ Allowed:
• Understanding error message
• Syntax explanation
• Debugging guideline
• Error explanation
• Documentation
➢ Not Allowed:
• Code generation
• Logic building
• Algorithm generation
• Solution design
• Architecture design
• PPT generation
• Idea generation
• Full solution generation
The use of AI tools is restricted to error understanding and debugging. The use of AI tools is
strictly prohibited for the generation of code, logic, algorithms, system design, solution
architecture, or any project component. The core development work should be carried out by
team members.
Submission Rules:
➢ Projects must be submitted within the given time limit.
➢ Each team must submit:
• Project Title
• Problem Statement
• Solution Description
• Tech Stack
• Working Model/Demo\
➢ Late submissions will not be evaluated.
Presentation Rules:
➢ Each team must present and/or demo their solution.
➢ Presentation time limits must be strictly followed.
➢ Teams must clearly explain:
• Problem
• Solution
• Technical approach
• Demo/working model
Judging Rules:
➢ Judging will be based on:
• Innovation
• Technical implementation
• Relevance to theme
• Working model
• Presentation quality
➢ The decision of the judges and organizers will be final and binding.
➢ Any form of plagiarism or rule violation will lead to disqualification.
Code of Conduct:
➢ Participants must maintain discipline, professionalism, and respectful behavior.
➢ Any form of misconduct, cheating, or disruption will result in disqualification.
➢ Damage to college property will lead to strict action.
General Rules:
➢ Organizers reserve the right to modify rules if required.
➢ Organizers’ decisions in case of disputes will be final.
➢ Participation implies acceptance of all rules and guidelines.
