The pulp and paper industry is very diversified, using many types of raw materials to
produce very different kinds of paper by different methods in mills of all sizes.
1.1. By use of a block flow diagram (BFD), illustrate schematically the paper raw
material preparation and handling steps. Hint: Explain each step briefly.
