Course This course introduces students to the fundamental principles, skills, and techniques of baking. Emphasis is given to

processes in baking. Practical activities and performance assessments ensure students develop the competencies
required for professional baking and preparation for TESDA competency-based assessments.

Course Outcome By the end of the course, students will be able to:
1. Demonstrate knowledge of baking principles, tools, equipment, and ingredients.
2. Apply food safety and sanitation practices in all baking activities.
3. Prepare, bake, and present basic breads, pastries, and cakes using TESDA competency standards.
4. Integrate costing, measurement, and quality control in baking operations.
5. Exhibit teamwork, professionalism, and creativity in baking tasks and final projects.
