Abstract

In today’s fast-paced life, managing daily tasks efficiently is essential for productivity. This
project

aims to design a simple and user-friendly platform that allows users to add, update, delete,
and manage their daily tasks efficiently. The application provides a secure login system for
multiple users, ensuring personalized task management. Users can mark tasks as completed
or pending, edit task details, and maintain an organized list of activities.

The project is developed using Python (Flask) for the backend, with HTML, CSS, and
JavaScript for the frontend, and SQLite/MySQL for database management. It covers all
fundamental CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) operations, making it an ideal project for
demonstrating core web development concepts. The system is designed with simplicity,
security, and real-world usability in mind. Future enhancements can include features like task
reminders, email notifications, priority levels, and a mobile app version.

This project is suitable for final-year students because it combines basic web technologies
with database management, has clear logic, is easy to implement, and provides excellent
scope for explanation during viva or demonstration.
