Details of Essential Qualifications and Experiences:

POST: PROFESSOR IN PHYSICAL EDUCATION

Eligibility (A or B)
A.
i. An eminent scholar having a Ph.D degree in the concerned / allied / relevant discipline, and published work of
high quality, actively engage in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 research
publications in the peer- reviewed or UGC – listed journals and a total research score of 120 as per the criteria of
UGC / University (Appendix II, Table 2 of UGC guideline).

ii. A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in University / College as Assistant Professor / Associate
Professor / Professor, and / or research experience at an equivalent level at the University / National Level
Institutions with evidence of having successfully guided doctoral candidate.

OR

B.
i. An outstanding professional, having a Ph.D Degree in the relevant / allied/applied disciplines, from any academic
institutions (not including in A above) / industry, who has made a significant contribution to the knowledge in the
concerned / allied / relevant discipline, supported by documentary evidence provided he / she has ten years’
experience.

POST: FINANCE & ACCOUNTS OFFICER

i. Master’s Degree with at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading
system is followed.
ii. At least 15 years of experience as an Assistant Professor in Academic level 11 and above or with 8 years of
service in Academic level 12 and above including as an Associate Professor along with experience in
Educational Administration.
OR
Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of Higher Education.
OR
15 years of administrative experience, of which 8 years shall be as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.

POST: LIBRARIAN
i. Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science/ Documentation Science with at least 55% of marks
or an equivalent grade on a point scale wherever the grading system is followed.
ii. At least 10 years as a Librarian at any level in a University Library or Ten (10) years of teaching as an
Assistant / Associate Professor in Library Science or ten years’ experience as a College Librarian.
iii. Evidence of innovative Library services, including the integration of ICT in a Library.
iv. A Ph.D degree in Library Science / information science /Documentation/ archives and manuscript keeping.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
a) The candidate must be a citizen of India.
b) The University reserves the right of filling or not filling the post.
c) Interested candidates shall apply in the prescribed form along with the necessary enclosures within the
stipulated date by filling the online applications in the link available in the University website [Link]
as well as mentioned above against the post.
d) Candidates should printout the completed online application form alongwith self-certified necessary enclosures
and post the same to “The Registrar, Sri Sri Aniruddhadeva Sports University,2 nd floor, DICC Building,
Dibrugarh, Assam – 786003”. The envelop containing the application form should reach the University on or
before 07/02/2026. The envelop containing the application form should have inscribed “Application for the
post of …………………………”. No application will be entertained after the last date.
e) The last date for submission of online application form is 31/01/2026 and the last date for receipt of the offline
application form is 07/02/2026.
f) Non- refundable Application Processing fee of Rs. 1,000.00 (Rupees one thousand) for each post shall be
made through the online portal only.
g) Schedule of interviews for the above posts shall be notified at the University’s website [Link]. Call
letters for attending interview will be sent only to the short-listed candidates by e-mail. No correspondence
will be made with applicants who have not been shortlisted/not called for an interview.
h) In case the University receives a large number of applications for a particular post, the University in such cases
reserves the right to adopt criteria for short listing candidates to be called for interview either by conducting a
written test or adopting a marking system as approved by the Competent Authority.
i) Self-attested copies of all relevant documents are required to be uploaded by the candidate. Incomplete
application form may be summarily rejected.
j) Applications received after the last date as mentioned in the advertisement shall be summarily rejected.
k) Candidates in service must apply through proper channel. The candidates are required to submit No Objection
Certificate (NOC) from competent authority at the time of submission of application form.
l) Canvassing in any manner, directly or indirectly, on the part of the candidate(s) or relatives of the candidate(s)
shall lead to his / her disqualification. In case, it is detected at any point of time in future, even after
appointment, that the candidate was not eligible, appointment of the candidate shall be liable to termination
forthwith. Any misrepresentation of facts / false information/concealing of facts / discrepancies etc will lead to
cancellation of candidature / appointment at any stage during selection process / at the time of joining and also
after appointment and further appropriate action will be taken.
m) No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the interview.
n) The University shall have the right to withdraw the advertisement of a particular post(s) or complete
advertisement due to administrative reason(s).
o) Once the application form along with the necessary enclosures are uploaded, the University will not entertain /
accept any documents / certificates on later date such as on the day of interview etc.
p) The post of Finance and Accounts Officer will be for a term of five years or till they attains the age of sixty
years whichever is earlier.
q) Services of the selected candidates will be governed by the Act, Statutes and regulations of the University and
relevant Govt. of Assam and UGC Rules and Regulations.
