Inter-College Science Exhibition Held Successfully

Modern College, Pune – 20th December 2025

The much-awaited Inter-College Science Exhibition was organised by Modern College on 20th December 2025 in
the college auditorium. Over 300 students from 15 colleges participated, showcasing innovative projects on themes
like Environment, Robotics and Health. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Priya Joshi, noted scientist from IIT
Bombay.

Various stalls attracted large crowds. Highlights included a solar-powered water purifier by Fergusson College
students and a waste-to-energy model by our college team. Workshops on AI and climate change were conducted,
with hands-on demonstrations. Judges appreciated the creativity and practical applications in 45 projects displayed.

The exhibition concluded with prize distribution. Our college secured first prize for the best project. Dr. Joshi
praised the young innovators, saying, "Such events spark scientific temperament." The programme ended with a
vote of thanks by the principal, promising more such events ahead.
