I strongly believe that children should do household

chores because it brings them many benefits. First

of all, doing chores helps children develop a sense
of responsibility. When they clean their room, wash
the dishes, or take out the trash, they learn that all
the members in the family are responsible for
keeping the house tidy, not just their parents.
Secondly, household chores teach children some
important life skills that will be useful when they
grow up, such as cooking, washing or organizing
things. In addition, when children help their parents,
family relationships become closer and warmer
because they spend more time together. Finally,
doing chores helps children understand how hard
their parents work and encourages them to
appreciate their efforts. For all these reasons, I think
that children should definitely do household chores
at home.
