CLASS: IX DURATION: 3 hours

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

(i) All questions are compulsory.

(ii) This question paper contains 30 questions divided into four Sections A, B, C and D.
(iii) Section A comprises of 10 questions of 1 mark each. Section B comprises of 10 questions
of 2 marks each. Section C comprises of 5 questions of 4 marks each and Section D
comprises of 5 questions of 6 marks each.
(iv) There is no overall choice. However, an internal choice has been provided in one question
of 1 mark each, and two questions of 4 marks each. You have to attempt only one of the
alternatives in all such questions.
(v) Use of Calculators is not permitted.
(vi) You are being trained to be meritorious students, and not a story writer, kindly answer to
the point. MCQs without solutions will be treated like lentils in curry. (Umm, I don’t like
lentils)
(vii) Do not unnecessarily smile to the person sitting next to you, they sure don’t know the
answer too. Don’t let them trick you into thinking they know anything.
(viii) If you have missed my classes, and hence are not prepared, pray to me, because God sure
isn’t going to help you.
(ix) If you are unsure of an answer, give a neat clean strike. Overwriting will be seen in a
negative spectrum.
(x) Life is unfair. Buckle up. If you want tissues to help you stop crying, kindly bring them
next time onwards.
