Teaching Strategies: Week 1

 Mr. Napay said that our observation includes not just the Educator and their
teaching strategies but also the students and their behaviors.
 He also interacts with the students (He always engage conversation and
interaction while teaching with students) Asking students, a question for him to
catch their attention and to assess the if the student is [Link] make
them include in the lesson.
 Giving time to take down notes.
  Makes learning enjoyable for the students, make it fun for them to learn.
 Giving short quiz after discussion to evaluate the student learning.
 Clarifying question for students understanding and Re-Checking students’
outputs.
 For special case student or students with exceptionalities, he we need to
thoroughly focus on them. Make sure to teach them accordingly for them to learn
what they need to learn.
 Visual should be visible, Black board writing should be readable.
 Writing in black board or White board should be from left to right. Make it
organize for student to copy and understand.
 Make the teaching slow and easily to understand for younger student, like
Elementary or for Special Case Student.
 Using modules while teaching. Students reading textbook for them to be engage
in lesson. Using Pictures for visual learning.
 Always start with the lesson that easy and understandably, explain the lesson
properly and ask if the student understand your lesson
 As an English teacher we need to be proficient in speaking in English, make sure
to answer them in English. specially the grade 6
 Accurate and informative discussion for Higher Grade student.
 Introduce the topic and Sub topic then explain it to the student properly. Giving
relatable example in his explanation.
 Higher Grade students, Low interaction more explanation. (Because you don’t
need to caught their attention, they're more discipline and organize during the
discussion.
 Teacher should be flexible in teaching. Even though you take English as a course
you should be flexible in teaching and English speaking should be natural to you
to in teaching it should be given that you speak in English.
 Check attendance for Classroom Management. Classrooms should Class Rules
and Management classroom Bulit tin.
 Share your experience if its help them learn something on it.
 Keep the teaching environment suitable for learning, it should be clean and quiet
and need a good flow of teaching
 Asking the student about their teacher's performances.
 Classroom management, make the student and school proper and make sure
that student is at their seat if they have vacant teacher
 Always knock before you enter a room specially in teachers office.

September 4 2025 Narrative Observation Day 2: Grading Week

 Mr. Napay 's Lesson are only few today because He's computing grades.
 Mr. Napay is busy at Grades computation because they'll be a card viewing at
the weekends, for his students

Teaching Strategies Week 2

 Ms. Monica always uphold Class Room Management like the greeting process,
attendance and fixing seating arrangements.
 Ms. Monica also starts with recapping the previous Lesson to re- fresh the
student knowledge.
 Ms. Monica also walks around the room to monitor her students’ behaviors.
 Asking her student, the question if they understand what are the things they don't
understand and what is their own opinion of the lesson and sub lesson.
 Ensuring the student understand the lesson that she's explaining. during the
students reporting, she’s clarifying the reporter student’s explanation for the
student.
 Making the student read the text book, for them to have participation class.
 Answering the student’s question and curiosity.
 Adjusting her teaching by the grade level and learning capabilities.

 Asking question about their opinion and comment about the lesson and

 I observe the Ms. Monica's Lesson with (HE, ICT, GAS 12)
 She starts with the Lesson on recapping the Modern Dance and Contemporary
Dance difference.
 Asking her student about their own understanding of the Sub Lesson. a Broad
Genre Dance of Modern dance Ballet. Ethnic Dance Expression of culture and
belief. Social Dance.

7:30 - 8-20 PE- STEM, HUMSS ABM 12

 Its early in the morning and the student still feels half asleep so Ms. Monica make
them dance before their discussion to energize the students.
 I observe Ms. Monica In discussing her previous PE Modern Dance Lesson in
different strand
 Ms. Monica is writing visuals for students about Modern Dance.

8:20 - 9:10 PE-(HE, ICT, GAS 12)

 Providing written visuals for her students to take notes. (Famous Dancers) She
also facilitating one student that take the exam late.
 She also instructs me sometimes to watch over her student if she need to leave
the class room in special situation.

 Ms. Monica instruct the HUMSS-12 to Do their group Research papers - She ask
for an update on what they've finished so far and what they've been working now

students to write - She ask me to watch over them while her student was writing.

• Ms. Monica ask me to give the lesson visuals continuation to her students for
their notes
• She asks me to watch over them while her student was writing.
• Then after they take note Ms. Monica have a small discussion of her lesson.

• Ms. Monica ask for update about their Research papers, the RRL and if their
finish the Chapter 2.
• She also checks if the student researched RRL are correct and answering
inquiries about the research

  MS. Monica ask for their notes and then for their attendance.

given Lesson module.

7:30 - 8-20 - STEM, HUMSS ABM 12

 Ms. Monica start with her morning greetings With Her students. After that she ask
her student to take their proper seats.
 Then she starts grouping her student for their upcoming activity about 20 Modern
dances.
 Ms. Monica have a Sore Throat so it' s hard for her to discuss and explain her
lesson so she asks her student to finish their Research papers.

8:20 - 9:10 -HE, ICT, GAS 12

 Ms. Monica give's an activity about the modern dance. Awareness of modern
dance about modern Issues. Essay and Proposal, about 250 words.
 Next week one of the essay proposal will be chosen as their performance.
 Ms. Monica ask me to collect the Essay Papers.

9:20- 10:10- STEM, HUMSS ABM 12: PR

 Ms. Monica check the research paper of her students starting from group 1 to
group 3, from their introduction the spacing the margins, correcting it from
chapter 1 to chapter.
  She also said that the passing Research papers are at the date for their monthly

 -Ms. Monica ask her students to prepare for their Drama about the 3 personality
structures and social issue's an activity, for next week.
 She excusing one of her students in class because of health reason.

 Ms. Monica ask me that I should ask question during her evaluation on ABM
students output and business Proposal presentation. After that Ms. Monica

• Be intimidating at first class be in control don't smile
• Motivation should be in every new lesson -Recap is important

• If they don’t understand the lesson or instruction (Wag mapapagod mag explain).
• Making sure her student does their work.
• She asks her students to wear a face mask because a lot of people are having a
flu so that they can’t be infected.
• Younger students need to have some fun time.

• I arrive at the room of grade 2 but Ms. Mica Already finish their lesson so she let
the draw so that they can occupy.

9:05 - 9:45 -Science 3/ GMRC

• Ms. Mica write her lesson on the white board for the notes of grade 3 in science.
• The Grade 3 students are all speaking in English so I should speak in English.

10:25 - 11:05- AP 6 and MAPEH 6

-Ms. Mica instruct her student to open their textbook and answer the page 96.
- After they finish their Quiz on page 97 Ms. Mica ask them to also answers it.

12:00 - 12: 40 English 1

-Ms. Mica ask her grade 1 students to open their English book in page 146 f
 Then she discusses about pronouncing words with the letter S. Consonant -B, C,
D, F, G, H... Vowels - A, E, I, O, U
 they have a quiz about the words with letter S and they also have a quiz about
correcting the spelling of the words that have letter S on it.
 They also have a tracing activity.
12:40 -1:20 FIL 1 and GMRC 1:

- Ms. Mica ask her student to open their GMRC book for their assessment.

 Ms. Mica Ask her students to Write their personal information about themselves.
 Those who didn't Finish their activity Ms. Mica turn it to their assignment.

September, 16 ,2025 Narrative Observation Day 11: 7:15-7:30

- Flag Ceremony
 They don’t have exercise on flag ceremony so Ms. Mica Play the exercise song
in their room for them to exercise.
 While she's getting ready for their English subject discussion.

- Ms. Mica ask her student to get their Pillars book and open it in page 138
 Ms. Mica discuss their Lesson: Presenting This and That
(E.g., Your and Yours’s, His and Her, It and its, Our or Ours, Their and My)

 Ms. Mica ask her student to do an exercise Quiz at page 140 and a 141 to
evaluate what they learn.

- Ms. Mica ask her student to open their Samhaya book on page 41
 Then she told them a story and after that she asks them about the story to know
if their listening.
 -Ms. Mica also ask them to answer the page 66 for learning evaluation - she also
explains to them the valuable lesson.

-Ms. Mica ask her student to open their science boo to open it in page 158.
  Then she discusses her lesson in her grade 3 student The difference between
living and non- Living things - Ms. Mica also asking them a question to get their
focus.

- Ms. Mica Ask her student to open their book in AP page 98 for discussion

Lesson: about Nationalism and Trading.

 She also asks her student to read it out loud
 Asking her student about the lesson while discussing for their recitation.

- Ms. Mica ask her student to get their Pillars Book and in pages 152
 Then she discusses the lesson using this and these.

 After her lesson she gave a quiz for her student.

- Ms. Mica ask her student to get their Sanghaya book and put it in page 43.
 Ms. Mica read them a story while asking them and teaching them through the
story. Asking them question for their participation.
 After the discussion Ms. Mica gave them an activity about choosing the food they
like in the book.

- Ms. Mica Discuss Her lesson in Math with the grade 5 then she gave a short
assessment quiz.

 The Grade 2 student doesn’t have a flag ceremony today so Ms. Mica ask them
to watch a video dance and do their exercise in the room.
