“‘Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.’
These words from Nelson Mandela remind us of a truth we all carry in our hearts—
that every lesson we teach, every learner we uplift, and every effort we make can
shape a better future.
BOTH:
Good morning, everyone! Welcome to the District Training Workshop of Tutors
on Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning — ARAL Program
—a movement dedicated to Advancing Reading and Learning, and to ensuring that
every child in our district receives the support, guidance, and learning opportunities
they deserve. Today, we gather not just as educators and leaders, but as
changemakers.
ARAL is more than a program. It is our shared commitment. Our united mission.
Our promise that no learner will be left behind, no matter the challenges, no matter
the distance, no matter the learning gaps.
To start with, may we request everyone to stand for the singing of our national
anthem to be played on record; followed by a prayer, the singing of bagong Pilipinas
Hymn and the Barotac Hymn to be also played by record.

Maam Liz:
“To officially open our ARAL Program Workshop, we call on a leader whose passion
for education continues to uplift this community.”
Sir Mark:
“She tirelessly supports endeavors such as this—training, empowerment, and
genuine care for learners.”
Maam Liz:
“Let us welcome Dr. Ma. Luisa L. Asong, Principal IV of BVNHS, for her Welcome
Message.”

Sir Mark:
“Thank you, Ma’am for that very enriching and empowering welcome message.”
Maam Liz: (smiling):
“Sir, with 327 participants, this might be the biggest training we’ve hosted this year.”
Sir Mark:
It just shows how dedicated our tutors are and it’s clear that our tutors are fully
committed to making learning recovery a success.”
Maam Liz:
“To formally introduce the powerhouse behind today’s activity, may we call Ma’am
Arly Grace L. Tugbang, Master Teacher I of BVNHS, for the presentation of
participants, Technical Working Group members, and resource persons.”\

coordinated and harmonious throughout the program.”
Sir Mark:
“Yes, Ma’am. This is the part that saves us from confusion… and from gentle
reminders!”
Maam Liz:
“To present the House Rules and Program Etiquette, let us welcome Maam Joylyn
P. Rosales, Teacher I of San Antonio ES.”

“With so many sessions and activities lined up for this two-day workshop, it’s
important that we all stay oriented.”
Sir Mark:
There’s so much in store, I bet we better stay ready.”

“Good thing we have the perfect person for that.”
Sir Mark:
