Duration of the concert = 11:30 – 8:30 = 3 hours

Solution:
There are 366 days in a leap year. February has an extra day in a leap
year.

Solution:
Time taken by Aimy to reach school= 7 minutes 8 seconds

Time taken by Karen to reach school = 7 minutes 8 seconds – 2 minutes
5 seconds= 5 minutes 3 seconds
c. Disha’s birthday is on 11th June. If 1st June is Friday, on which day will be
Disha’s birthday?
Solution:
1st June is Friday, so 8th June is Friday, 9th June is Saturday, 10th June is
Sunday and 11th June is Monday. So, Disha’s birthday will be on Monday.
d. The present time is 11:00 a.m. What is the time after 1 hour 55 minutes.
Solution:
1 hour 55 minutes after 11:00 a.m. is 12: 55 p.m.
e. Tina’s dance class starts at 6:45 and Anu’s dance class starts at 6:15.
How much earlier is Anu’s class than Tina’s class?
Solution:
Time at which Tina’s dance class starts = 6:45
Time at which Anu’s dance class starts = 6:15
6:45-6:15 = 30 minutes
So, Anu’s dance class starts 30 minutes earlier than Tina’s dance class.
