My name is Sweta Tripathi. I am from Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, but currently residing in Lucknow.

I hold an MBA in Finance from the University of Lucknow and a Bachelor's degree in [Link] Retail
Management and IT from Jesus and Mary College, Delhi University. In addition to my academics, I
have completed certifications in Google Data Analytics, Excel, and Power BI, which have helped me

During my postgraduation, I interned at the Outlook Group as a Business Analyst Intern, where I

analyzing financial statements and preparing cashflows by using the borrower provided documents
and guidelines.

On a personal note, I come from a family of six, including my parents, two elder sisters, and an elder

I work as a Financial Analyst at Silverskills Pvt. Ltd. in the Commercial Re-Rating team. basically here,
I assess financial risk factors, and other borrowers provided documents, and evaluate key metrics like
Loan-to-Value (LTV) and Debt Service Coverage Ratio (DSCR). Additionally, I utilize Excel to streamline
financial data, perform variance analysis, and generate insights that support decision-making."

I choose a career in finance because I enjoy working with numbers, analyzing data, and making
strategic decisions. Finance plays a crucial role in business growth, and I find it exciting to interpret
financial data to drive informed decisions. My MBA in Finance and hands-on experience in financial
analysis, Excel, SQL, and Power BI have strengthened my passion for this field. I look forward to

"Yes, I am open to relocating to Hyderabad. I see this as a great opportunity to work in a dynamic

6. : How do you conduct variance analysis and trend analysis? Can you give an example of insights
you derived from this?
A:
Variance analysis involves comparing actual financial data against budgeted or forecasted figures to
identify discrepancies. Trend analysis helps track financial performance over time.

For example – when we perform cash flow analysis that time we took last 3 years data for
consideration at that time while performing it when we saw that any item whether it is income side
or expense side is show substantial difference that time we conduct variance analysis to find out the
reason behind that and if talking about trend analysis so while performing cash flow trend analysis is
the main part like upward downward and fluctuate trend on the basis of these trends we follow the
guidelines.

7. : What financial metrics do you use to assess the profitability of a project or company?
A:
I use key financial metrics such as:

 Net Present Value (NPV) and Internal Rate of Return (IRR) for project evaluation.

 Gross Profit Margin and EBITDA Margin to measure profitability.

 Debt-to-Equity Ratio and Current Ratio for financial stability.

 Return on Assets (ROA) and Return on Equity (ROE) to assess efficiency.

8. Internship (Outlook Group - Business Analyst Intern)

Q: What was the biggest challenge you faced when cleaning and analyzing survey data?
A:
The biggest challenge was dealing with incomplete and inconsistent responses in a dataset of
~11,000 participants. To solve this, I:

 Used Excel functions like IFERROR, TRIM, and SUBSTITUTE to clean the data.

 Removed duplicate and inconsistent entries using filters and conditional formatting. And fix
the datatype issues of the attributes.

A:
During my analysis, I noticed that a significant portion of customers preferred digital over print
subscriptions. I also created visualizations to highlight this trend.

10.Q: Can you walk us through your car inventory management project? How did you apply SQL for
exploratory data analysis?
A:
In this project, I analyzed car inventory data using SQL to:

 Identify non-moving stock using LEFT JOIN queries.

 Find seasonal demand trends using GROUP BY and ORDER BY statements.

 Optimize inventory by forecasting demand patterns with statistical methods.

The insights helped in reducing inventory holding costs and improving turnover rates

11. Q: How would you manage an assigned budget and reconcile expenses to the ledger?
A:
I would:

 Track actual expenses against budgeted figures in real time.

 Use variance analysis to identify overspending or underspending.

In finance forecasting is the process of predicting a company's future financial performance which
helps in financial planning and decision-making

A:
I use a combination of:

 Historical data analysis to identify trends.

14. what is scenario analysis ?


Scenario analysis is a method for predicting future outcomes by considering different possible
scenarios.

15. Tell us about a time when you had to work under a tight deadline. How did you manage it?

I want to share a short story on my experience. Last year in mid of June we had a very tight
guidelines from the client but the tragical part was that two of our team members was not available
because of some emergence . to manage this we the remaining team divide our tasks into two part
one are of critical and 2nd is of easy ones. Firstly we completed critical tasks and then work on the
easiest ones . for handling this situation we as team even received appreciation from our manager.

15. Describe a situation where you had to present financial insights to a non-finance audience.
A:
While working on a sales performance dashboard at Outlook Group, I had to present findings to the
marketing team. To ensure clarity:

 I used simple graphs instead of complex financial statements.

 Focused on key takeaways rather than technical details.

 Explained financial trends in layman’s terms to help them adjust marketing strategies
accordingly.
