Dear Ali,

I hope this letter finds you well. I’m excited to let you know that I’ll be
visiting Bristol next weekend, as I’ve signed up for a professional
development workshop in the city centre.

Since the sessions end by late afternoon, I’ll have plenty of free time in
the evenings. I’ve already booked accommodation – a small guesthouse
called “The Scholar’s Rest”, which is located quite close to the
university library.

Given that you know the city so well, I was hoping you could
