BOOK OF JOSHUA

 So Joshua is literally the new Moses, okay? He was like Moses’ student, leader ng Israelites,
military commander, and a total God follower.

 A er Moses died, God was like, “Okay Joshua, it’s your turn. Lead my people to the Promised
Land.”

 The Promised Land = land flowing with milk and honey (Israel, Pales ne, Syria, Lebanon area).

 The Israelites wandered for 40 years sa desert kasi of their disobedience and struggles (no food,
no water, but God s ll gave manna and water ).

 When they finally crossed the Jordan River with the Ark of the Covenant, the water stopped
flowing — like legit miracle moment!

 Joshua led them in conquering Jericho and other ci es. Then he divided the land among the 12
tribes of Israel (except Levi — kasi priestly tribe sila).

 Before he died, Joshua reminded everyone to stay loyal to God or else they’ll perish.

BOOK OF JUDGES

 A er Joshua, wala nang permanent leader — only “Judges” who popped up when needed.

 Pa ern ng life nila: obey = victory, disobey = defeat and chaos.

 Moral lesson: Faithfulness to God = success; unfaithfulness = downfall.

 Judges were like temporary heroes, chosen by God to save the people when a acked.
