(personal) opinion that it is good >< bad / harmful >< beneficial.

it has advantages/ disadvantages

positive/ negative effects/ impacts

benefits/ drawbacks

BD1: Reason(s)

Reason 1: Good for their children - life (career)

Study hard / work hard

Chances/ Opportunities (school: earn scholarship => enter gifted schools/

parents => more chances to achieve their dreams/ targets/ ambitions.

Impact (negative): On the other hand,

Children might suffer from serious/ severe mental health issues/ problems.

Generation gap: khoang cach the he (parents’ need # children’s desire)

=> children lose their own privacy/ freedom to make decisions

disagreements/ conflicts => damage the family relationship/ bonds.

CONCLUSION:

In conclusion, / In summary,

2 reasons - parents’ thought and care / trend of boasting among parents

I personally hold the view that this development - (good / bad).
