1. Time-Bound Course Model
All courses on HopeToSkills will follow a time-bound completion structure to
ensure learner discipline and measurable outcomes.
Key Rules
● Each course has a fixed completion duration (e.g., 30 days).
● Learners must complete the course within the defined duration from the
enrollment date.
● Access automatically expires once the duration ends.
2. Enrollment & Re-Enrollment Policy
First-Time Enrollment
● Completely free for all learners.
Re-Enrollment
● If a learner fails to complete the course within the allowed duration:
○ Re-enrollment is paid
○ The course-specific re-enrollment fee applies
Enrollment Limits
● Each course defines:
○ Maximum number of enrollments allowed per learner (if not
completed)
3. Mandatory Course Configuration Fields
While creating a course, the following additional fields are mandatory:
Course Timeline Configuration
● Course Completion Duration (Days)
● Mid-Term Exam Availability (Days after enrollment)
● Mid-Term Due Date (Days after availability of mid-term exam)
● Final-Term Exam Availability (Days after enrollment)
● Final-Term Due Date (Days after availability of final-term exam)
● Minimum course completion(%) required for certification
Commercial & Control Configuration
● Price on Second Enrollment
● Maximum Allowed Enrollments (if course is not completed)
4. Pre-Assessment Requirement (Mandatory)
● Learners cannot enroll in any course without completing the Pre-Assessment
Test.
● The pre-assessment:
○ Evaluates the learner’s initial knowledge level
○ Generates a Learning Score (%)
● Enrollment is unlocked only after successful completion of the pre-assessment
5. Mid-Term Exam Workflow
The Mid-Term Exam serves as a mandatory progress checkpoint.
Flow:
● Student reaches 50% course completion
● Student appears in Mid-Term Assessment Management
● Institute triggers “Send Mid-Term Exam Email”
● System sends:
○ Personalized exam email
○ Secure, time-bound exam link
● Student attempts the exam
● System automatically updates exam status
● If Attempted: Student becomes eligible for Final-Term Exam
● If Not Attempted: Student is not eligible for Final-Term Exam
6. Final-Term Exam Workflow
The Final-Term Exam validates overall course mastery.
Flow:
● If the Final-Term exam date is reached and Mid-Term Exam is attempted:
■ Student appears in Final Assessment Management
■ Institute sends Final-Term Exam email
● Student attempts the exam
● If Passed and course completion(%) is above than the institute rule:
○ Course Certification is unlocked
● If Failed: Re-attempt or re-enrollment rules apply (as configured)
7. Updated Course Progress Weightage (100%)
The learner’s overall course progress will be calculated using the following
standardized weightage:
● Videos Watched: 15%
● Quizzes: 15%
● Assignments: 20%
● Mid-Term Exam: 20%
● Final-Term Exam: 30%
8. AI-Driven Personalized Learning System
Learning Score Definition
● In-Video Quizzes + Pre-Assessment Results collectively define the
learner’s Learning Score (%)
Personalized Content Generation
● Based on the Learning Score:
○ AI dynamically generates:
■ Assignments
■ Open Quizzes
● Generated assessments are:
○ Personalized
○ Difficulty-adjusted
○ Unique for each learner
9. Assignment & Open Quiz Enhancements
● Assignments and quizzes are:
○ Automatically adapted to the learner’s strengths and weaknesses
○ Aligned with their real-time learning progress
● AI ensures Continuous difficulty calibration
Expected Outcomes
● Strong learner accountability through time-bound access
● Fair monetization via paid re-enrollment
