Through our CWTS activities, I gained valuable lessons that helped shape my understanding of
service, responsibility, and community involvement. From the Red Cross Training, I learned practical life-
saving skills such as basic first aid and emergency response. More than the technical knowledge, the
activity taught me the importance of staying calm, alert, and prepared in critical situations. It made me
realize that being able to help others in times of need is a powerful responsibility and a meaningful way to
serve the community. The Clean-Up Drive taught me that community involvement starts with simple
actions. Cleaning our surroundings made me more aware of how discipline, cooperation, and
environmental responsibility contribute to a healthier community. It changed my view by showing that
caring for the environment is a shared duty and that collective effort can create visible and positive change.
Through ReViBE, I learned the value of youth participation, faith, and service. The activity helped me
understand that community involvement is not limited to physical work but also includes inspiring others,
sharing values, and strengthening social bonds. It encouraged me to be more confident, socially aware, and
active in serving others.
These activities changed my perspective on community involvement. I realized that serving the
community is not just a requirement but a privilege that helps develop character. The values I gained
include teamwork, as we worked together toward common goals; empathy, as I became more sensitive to
the needs of others; leadership, through active participation and responsibility; and social responsibility,
which taught me to care not only for myself but for the people and environment around me. These
experiences helped me grow not only as a student but also as a responsible and compassionate individual
who is willing to serve the community.
