About the Company
We are a fast-growing health-tech company building AI-powered solutions for clinical
documentation. Our solution is already deployed across hospitals and clinics, helping clinicians
reduce documentation time and improve care delivery. We are incubated at IIT Bombay and have
received several prestigious Govt grants too.
As we scale across hospitals and enterprise clients, we’re looking for a Backend Engineer to help
strengthen our core platform, improve performance, and build scalable backend systems that
support real-world healthcare use cases.
Role Overview
As a Backend Engineer, you will work on building reliable, scalable backend services that power
speech processing, clinical data pipelines, and system integrations. You will collaborate closely with
AI engineers, frontend developers, and product teams to deliver production-grade features used by
doctors every day.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys ownership, clean architecture, and working on systems
that operate at scale.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python (FastAPI / Flask)
• Build and optimize data pipelines for audio, transcription, and structured medical data
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for platform and EHR integrations
• Work closely with AI/ML teams to integrate NLP and speech models
• Implement scalable, secure, and high-performance backend logic
• Support frontend integration (HTML, CSS, JavaScript; Angular preferred)
• Participate in system design, code reviews, and sprint planning
• Improve system reliability, logging, and performance monitoring
• Contribute to technical documentation and best practices
What We’re Looking For

• 2–3 years of experience in backend development
• Hands-on experience building production-grade backend services using Python
• Strong proficiency in Python (FastAPI / Flask / Django)
• Familiarity with building asynchronous APIs, background tasks, and integrations
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and backend architecture
• Experience working with databases and APIs. Ability to optimize APIs for performance,
scalability, and reliability in real-world systems
• Familiarity with frontend basics (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a fast-growing, evolving environment
Good to Have
• Exposure to AI/ML systems or NLP workflows
• Experience with Docker, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), CI/CD
• Prior experience in healthcare, SaaS, or B2B platforms is an added advantage
