When I had been in secondary school, I had really struggled with English. I had felt nervous
whenever I had to speak or write, and my scores had not been good. Everything changed
when I moved to high school. My teacher used simple methods and encouraged us to
practice every day, so I started to improve step by step. Now I am practicing vocabulary,
reading, and writing daily. I am also listening to podcasts to train my listening skills and
speaking with friends to become more confident. Although English is still difficult for me,
especially grammar and speaking, I believe it is very important for my future. Sometimes I
feel shy and make mistakes, but I keep trying because English helps me connect with the
world. I feel both challenged and motivated whenever I study it.

I started learning English when I was in grade six. At first, it was really difficult for me
because I couldn’t pronounce the words correctly. However, I didn’t give up. Now, I study
English every day and try to practice speaking with my friends. In addition, I am watching
English movies with subtitles to improve my listening skills. So far, I have learned a lot of
new vocabulary from them. Recently, I have been reading English short stories before going
to bed, which helps me relax and remember new words better.

I started learning English when I was in secondary school. At that time, I didn’t think it was
important. I only studied to pass exams. So my English wasn’t really good.
After a few years, I started to realize that English is actually pretty useful, like when I’m
watching movies, reading novels, or even talking to foreigners. So I became more interested
in English.
I usually watch YouTube videos with subtitles, listen to English songs, or read English
novels. Sometimes I also talk to foreigners online, but not very often. Speaking is still hard
for me, and sometimes I can’t find the right words.
But I think now my English skills are much better than before. I feel more confident and can
understand more. Learning English has changed me a lot and helped me connect with more
people.

For university students, learning English is very important. Many textbooks and research
papers are written in English, so good language skills help students understand their
subjects better. English also allows students to join exchange programs, attend international
conferences, and access more learning resources online. To improve English, students can
read academic articles, watch lectures in English, and practice speaking with friends.
Joining English clubs or taking part in presentations can also build confidence. Although
learning English takes time and effort, it is a useful investment for the future. It not only
supports academic success but also opens the door to global job opportunities. Students
should try to use English every day, both in and outside the classroom. With practice and
motivation, anyone can improve and become confident in using English.
