2. Grammar Practice (Twice a Week)

• Nouns: common, proper, collective (10 each)

• Verbs: 10 action words

• Adjectives: write 10 adjectives + use 5 in sentences

• Tenses: write 5 sentences each in:

o Present tense

o Past tense

o Future tense

• Prepositions: in/on/under/behind/near (write 5 sentences)

• Opposites (10 pairs)

3. Reading & Comprehension

Daily (15 min)


Read any two pages daily from your English textbook .
Weekly task:
Write 5 answers to these after reading:

1. Title of the story

2. Main characters

3. What happened in the story

4. My favourite part

5. Moral of the story

4. Creative Writing

Monthly:

• Write a short story (10–12 sentences)

• Draw a picture and describe it in 7–8 sentences

MATHEMATICS
1. Numbers & Place Value

• Write numbers 1–5000 (20 numbers daily)

• Write number names for 1–300

• Write predecessor & successor of 25 numbers weekly

• Roman numerals I to XX

2. Weekly Calculation Practice

Every week solve:

• 15 sums of 3-digit addition

• 15 sums of 3-digit subtraction

• 15 sums of 2-digit × 1-digit multiplication

• 15 sums of 3-digit ÷ 1-digit division

• 5-word problems (mix)

3. Tables

• Learn and write tables 2 to 20

• Practice 2 tables daily


4. Geometry

• Draw and label:

o Square

o Rectangle

o Triangle

o Circle

• Measure 5 household objects using a scale

• Draw 5 clocks showing different times

5. Fractions (Simple)

• Draw 4 shapes and colour:

1. Short Note Writing (8–10 lines each)

• 1 drawing every week (scenery, winter day, bird, village, garden, mountains)
