Personal Statement
When I was younger, I had a reputation among my friends:
if you traded with me, you were probably going to lose. I
wasn t mean about i but I had a knack for getting the
better deal. Whether it was snacks, small gadgets, or
digital game items, I always found a way to make a simple
exchange work in my favor. Looking back, my friends joked
that I "scammed" them harmlessly, of course but to me,
those playful trades revealed something deeper: I had a
natural interest in value, persuasion, and strategy. What
seemed like a game was actually my first lesson in
business.
That curiosity has only grown over the years. I started
paying more attention to how products are marketed, why
some brands succeed and others don t, and how
companies position themselves in a competitive world.
Business, to me, feels like a complex puzzle—a world full
of hidden mechanics that drive everyday life. I m drawn to
understanding those systems and even more excited
about becoming part of them.
More than just personal ambition, I want to create things
that have meaning and value for others as well as myself. I
want to build or contribute to something that reflects
purpose, innovation, and growth. Whether it s starting my
own brand or helping grow someone else s vision, I m
motivated by the idea of turning ideas into impact.
Choosing to study business is more than just a logical next
step. It s the start of a journey I ve been on for a long time
without even knowing it. From playground trades to school
projects to now, I ve always looked for the why behind
choices and the how behind success. I m excited to bring
that energy into a real academic and professional
environment where I can sharpen my skills, expand my
thinking, and eventually step into the business world not
just as a student but as a contributor.
