LIFE IN SPACE
Hello, readers! This week, I talked to astronaut Julie Gillis and asked her all about life in space.
Astronauts travel to space in a rocket and they live on a space station. Life on a space station is
difficult but interesting. Julie said that astronauts spent most of their time doing science
experiments and other important work.
Life is difficult in space with zero gravity. Julie told me she had to sleep in a sleeping bag and
she tied it to the wall, so she didn't float away.
Life in space is hard, but it is an interesting experience. Julie said that floating around the space
station was amazing. She also told me she enjoyed looking out the windows at the Moon, the
beautiful stars and the planets. It was her favourite way to entertain on the space station. I think
