Subject: Application for Medical Condonation due to Knee Injury

Respected Sir/Ma’am,

I am writing to respectfully explain my recent absence from classes and to submit my

medical records for your review.

On 07/12/25, while playing football, I sustained an injury to my knee. At the time, I

disregarded the initial pain and continued playing, which unfortunately aggravated the
condition. Later that day, while at my brother’s residence, the pain became severe,
rendering me unable to walk properly.

I immediately sought medical attention at Soni Medicare Centre on December 7, 2025.

The doctor diagnosed a ligament strain and strictly advised me to undergo 14 days of
bed rest along with a course of homeopathic medication.

To ensure there was no permanent damage, I also visited the Orthopedic Department at
Safdarjung Hospital on December 8, 2025. The specialists there diagnosed an ACL tear
and meniscus injury. However, I decided to strictly follow the conservative treatment
plan of bed rest and medication prescribed by my primary physician at Soni Medicare.

I am pleased to inform you that after adhering to the 14-day rest period and performing
the recommended rehabilitation exercises, my condition has improved significantly. My
doctor has confirmed that the ligament has healed well without the need for surgery,
and I am now fit to resume my academic activities.

I have attached the medical prescriptions and reports from both Soni Medicare Centre
and Safdarjung Hospital as proof of my condition and treatment.
I kindly request you to consider my medical condition and condone my attendance for
the days I was on bed rest.
Thank you for your understanding and support

Yours Sincerely,
Sameer Ejaz
