The maps show how the layout of a park has changed since 1980.

In general, the site has undergone a


shift mainly towards recreational development, with a picnic zone and playground being added. In
addition, the accessibility of the park has improved.

In 1980, the park could only be accessed/entered from the south and the west. The site was
chiefly/mainly characterized by natural features back then, with a small area for flowers on the left just
by the southern entrance and a bigger one on the opposite side. Also, trees were located in the north-
eastern corner and a pond surrounded by three benches was situated in the west.

By now, the park has somehow become open; gates and walls/fences have been demolished and also a
person can enter from all four sides at present. The bigger area for flowers has been replaced by a
playground for children while the smaller one has been knocked down to make room for bushes. Near
the trees, a picnic zone (chairs, desks, and a barbeque) has been erected/built and the number of
benches has increased by one, all exhibiting/showing a transformation towards entertainment.
