Problem statement
Selecting the right career path is a major challenge for students and young professionals. Traditional
counseling methods often provide generic, outdated advice that may not reflect a person’s strengths or the
realities of the job market. Limited resources and subjective opinions further reduce the effectiveness of
guidance services. As a result, many individuals miss out on opportunities that align with their true
potential. There is a clear need for a smarter, data-driven approach that delivers personalized
recommendations based on both user profiles and current industry trends. This project aims to address the
gap by providing accessible, accurate, and individualized career guidance.
4
Objective
The objective of this project is to develop an intelligent expert system that delivers personalized,
data-driven career recommendations to help users choose career paths aligned with their unique
profiles and current job market trends.
5
PROPOSED SYSTEM:
start User input Collect data Analyze skills
Analyze traits
end Show results recommendations Integrate trends
6
Multi-Agent Analysis:
The system is designed with modular agents:
● Pedagogy Agent: Analyzes academic background.
● Psychology Agent: Assesses personality and interests.
● Market Agent: Fetches and integrates real-time labor market trends.
● Integration Agent: Combines recommendations and ranks them based on suitability.
7
Matching Algorithm:
The core logic uses rule-based and/or score-based matching:
● Checks for matches between user data and knowledge base (e.g., degree, skills, personality, percentage).
● Scores careers based on how many criteria are matched.
● Ranks and displays the best matches.
8
Use of Adzuna API
● Integrates real-time job market data into the expert system.
● Fetches current vacancies, company names, and direct application links for each recommended career.
● Ensures career recommendations are matched with actual industry demand and opportunities.
● Enhances the system’s relevance, accuracy, and value for users by connecting them directly to live job
openings.
9
Workflow:
● User enters education, skills, and personality details on the web app.
● System analyzes profile using knowledge base and modular agents.
● Real-time job openings are fetched from the Adzuna API.
● User profile is matched with suitable careers based on multiple criteria.
● System displays top career recommendations with company vacancies and application links.

CONCLUSION
Career Expert System offers an intelligent and personalized approach to career guidance by integrating
academic, personal, and real-time job market data. By automating the recommendation process through
modular agents and leveraging live vacancy information, the system overcomes the limitations of traditional
counseling and provides users with accurate, up-to-date, and actionable career advice. This not only
empowers students and job-seekers to make informed decisions but also ensures their chosen career paths
align with both their unique strengths and current industry demands. Overall, the system represents a
significant step toward accessible, data-driven, and effective career planning for all.
