3. How to Write Body
If old people are no longer physically, mentally, or financially able to take after
themselves, younger family members should be legally responsible for supporting
them. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
On the one hand, young people should take legal responsibility for taking care of
their older relatives. The law can force youngsters to take on the responsibility
of providing financial support for the elderly, which can help ease the
government’s burden, allowing it to allocate more financial resources to other
areas. For example, in China, adult children are legally required to cover the
living and healthcare expenses of their older parents. As a result, this regulation
allows the government to save a significant amount on social welfare and
invest more in education and medical system.

(1) Introduce other people’s opinion:
- 1 opinion: Some people think that/ There is a belief that/ It is argued that/ One
school of thought holds that S + V
- 2 opinions:
+ Opinions are divided on whether S + V/ N or S+ V/ N

(6) Introduce a cause (negative):

EX: the degradation of the environment is caused by the use of fossil fuels.
- In a separate sentence: A -> C. One major cause of this is that S + V/ This

EX: The use of cars can contribute to air pollution. One major cause of this is

(7) Introduce a result:

EX: using electric vehicles can help reduce carbon emissions

EX: The use of combustion engine vehicles leads to higher production of
