D. Procedure (3 points)
1. Fill the cup with water.
2. Put the cup on a flat table.
3. Drop the coin into the water and observe what happens.
4. Remove the coin from the water.
5. Drop the pencil into the water and observe.
6. Remove the pencil from the water.
7. Drop the eraser into the water and observe.
8. Record which objects sink and which float.
E. Observation / Result
Observation:
The coin sank to the bottom.
The pencil and eraser floated on the water.
