SMART SAFETY SYSTEM USING ARDUINO UNO

ABSTRACT

This project presents a Smart Safety System using Arduino Uno that integrates multiple
sensors to monitor fire, gas leakage, body temperature, room temperature, humidity, and
heart rate. The system enhances safety by providing visual alerts using LEDs.

OBJECTIVE

To design and develop a low-cost smart safety system capable of monitoring environmental
and human health parameters.

COMPONENTS USED

1. Arduino Uno

2. Flame Sensor

3. Gas Sensor (MQ-2)

4. Pulse Sensor

5. LM35 Temperature Sensor

6. DHT11 Temperature & Humidity Sensor

7. LEDs (Red, Yellow, Green)

8. Resistors

9. Breadboard

10. Jumper Wires

11. USB Cable

WORKING PRINCIPLE

- Flame sensor detects fire and triggers red LED.

- Gas sensor detects gas leakage and activates warning LED.

- LM35 measures body temperature.

- DHT11 measures room temperature and humidity.

- Pulse sensor monitors heart rate.

- LEDs indicate system status and alerts.
