We are living in extraordinary times where extraordinary technologies are

within reach from anywhere, by anyone. We almost always take these


technologies for granted because they have become part of the everyday life of
people.
To start with this module, take some time to think about the
following questions: GRADED Activity #1(10 pts)
1. What do technologies look like when they are still being
discovered?
- Regardless of the transformation, whether it is building a railroad network or
smartphone, there are numerous technologies that ultimately come together. This
means that at the early part of the transformation, the visionaries that see the
transformation are easily dismissed as having an idea that is “idealistic”, “pie-in-
the-sky”, “way out there” or “exceedingly expensive to achieve”.
2. How did the life of people change back then?
- Life in the past was fun because the children were playing outside where they
could experience the real fun that I feel compared to now the children are
focused on their cellphones and they still see something unpleasant to look at.
Are we going through a similar change right now?
- The world never stops innovating and changing.
What’s in store for the future?
- Stores will instead act as branded media. They will function less as places that
simply sell products and more like interactive galleries, showrooms and workshops
– places where consumers can have aesthetic, visceral and emotional experiences
with the brand – that can’t be replicated online.
Have we actually progressed as a result of the technologies that we have
discovered throughout time?
- Yes we actually progressed because of technologies discover. Because of
the changes of technology it leads to an increase in labor of productivity,
capital, and other factors of production. Technology also refers to the
process of through which inputs are transformed into outputs
