17.0 Non DSR Aluminium Composite Panel


Providing and fixing of Aluminium composite panels cladding at wall and ceiling
17.1
is designed for wind pressure of 2.5KN/sqm.
Providing and fixing 4mm thick (0.5mm+3.0mm+0.5mm) Exterior Grade
Aluminium Composite Panel cladding of approved shade around the columns /
dead walls / edges of roof / under side of ceiling / facia/ over MS structure
above terrace etc. as per technical data at all heights (above terrace in facia)
for a wind pressure of 2.5KN/sqm. The standard panel size of ACP shall be
used as per the elevations as shown in drawings enclosed. The rate shall
include all necessary aluminium tube frame work, galvanised MS brackets
(fixed with fasteners) tools and fixing / lifting equipments, scaffolding, technical
personal and as per technical specifications, complete as per the direction of
the Engineer-in-Charge.

The panel shall be reinforced behind to meet the required structural design and
deflection criteria. The panel shall be designed with the fixity to allow
temperature variance and surface temperature differentials due to ambient
temperature differential without causing any effect on flatness of the panels.

Extruded mullions and transoms of extruded aluminium tube sections shall be


of 63400 WP alloy with chemical composition and mechanical properties as per
IS: 733:1983 and I.S. 1285:2002.

The installed composite panel surface shall not have irregularities such as oil
canning, waves, Buckles, and other irregularities when viewed at any position
not less than 15 degrees to the true plane of the panel.
The ACP cladding system shall be aligned for the entire height and for the
entire width by lazer beam equipment to ensure 100 percent 'X' axis 'Yaxis The
fixing of the panels shall be designed in such a way that they should come in
plane with the glass panels and there shall be no deflection is visible on the
external face in elevation.

All the vertical and horizontal section grooves and peripheral gaps shall be
sealed with approved grade sealant (non staining) weather silicone (Wacker or
Dow Corning or GE silicones) to make the entire system synchronize with the
basic curtain wall structure / steel structure and also make the system airtight
and watertight. The fixing details should be got approved by site-in charge.

The peel off foil from ACP panels shall be removed after completion of project
Or as per instructions of Engineer-In-Charge.
Cost of ACP panel cladding complete in all respect at all mentioned locations
including the labour element for cutting and fabrication of ACP panel along with
38x25x2mm thick aluminium tube stiffener at back and Galvanised brackets for
stability, stacking, carrying to heights and fixing in appropriate locations shall be
included in the rates. ACP panels shall be fabricated out of 1250mm wide
standard sheet

The anchoring / bracing of the cladding to the MS structure / RCC slab / beams
/ columns shall be done with non-corrosive galvanised brackets of approved
shape / design with normal / extended bracket as per details enclosed,
including providing aluminium shims of various thickness to adjust the level
variations, fixing with S.S. dash fasteners to have minimum anchoring depth of
50-60 mm in the concrete and to withstand the dead load of the acp panels
cladding as well as stresses developed due to wind pressure etc.

The framework shall be aligned for the entire height and for the entire width by
lazer beam equipment to ensure 100 percent 'X' axis 'Y-axis alignment.

The periphery of the acp cladding work shall be sealed properly from outside
with silicon weather sealant to make the cladding watertight .

Cost of aluminium composite panel consisting of a core of Polyethylene


sandwiched between two aluminium skins of 0.20" thickness with a mild edge,
4 mm total thickness with surface finish of fluocarbon protective colour coating
shade as approved by the Architect, details as shown in in the elevation, plan
and cross section drawings along with labour element for cutting stacking,
carrying to heights and fixing to appropriate locations in included in the rates.

Specification of ACP:
1. Aluminium Sheet: (Al45) 0.5mm Al foil of 5005 Grade
2. Core Material: 3mm thick 100% virgin PE core

600x600mm clip in tiles of pre coated Aluminium in 0.7 mm thickness with
bevel edge in white colour with standard perforation of 1.5mm dia & open area

should be 0.80 and suitable for Green Building application, with Recycled
content of 50%.

Installation: To comprise 3000mm long ‘C’ channels spaced at 1200mm


centres securely fixed to the structural soffit by support clamp & approved
hangers. The last hanger at the end of each C channel should not be greater
than 600mm from the adjacent wall. Use a C-channel connector for splicing two
pieces of C-channels. 4000mm Dp-12 Main carriers (spring tee bars) shall be
Non DSR spaced at 600mm centres in a direction perpendicular to the C- channels and
shall be secured at every intersection with C channel using a dp-12 hanger.
Use Dp-12 connector to splice two pieces of Dp-12 main carriers. Tiles should
be clipped in between two Dp-

Perimeter trims to be of Armstrong wall angles of white colour secured to walls
