Tournament Overview

This is a 4-hour football tournament for Under-15 players only (maximum age 15).

The tournament will be held on 25th January 2026. The exact time slot will be decided after registrations, based on
participants’ convenience.

The tournament will have 6 teams, playing a 6-a-side format. There will be no substitutes allowed, so only the
registered 6 players can play for a team.

All players are advised to wear black.

The entry fee is ₹400 per person, to be paid at the time of registration.

There will be two referees for all matches. They are not professional or official referees, but they are familiar with
the rules and flow of the game.

Tournament Format (League Structure)

The 6 teams will be divided into two groups of 3 teams each.

In each group, every team will play against the other two teams once. This means each team plays 2 group-stage
matches.

After the group stage, the team with two losses in each group is eliminated. The remaining 4 teams qualify for the
semi-finals.

The semi-finals will be played as knockout matches, followed by a final to decide the winner.

In case teams in a group finish with equal wins and losses, the team to be eliminated will be decided based on goal
difference.

Match Timings: Group stage matches will be 15 minutes long with a 2-minute half-time. Semi-final matches will be
30 minutes long with a 4-minute half-time, and the final match will be 45 minutes long with a 5-minute half-time. If
any match ends in a tie, the winner will be decided by three penalty kicks per team to save time

Prizes & Facilities: The total prize pool is ₹5,000. Winners will receive a cash prize along with a trophy, while the
runners-up (2nd place) will receive ₹2,000. New bibs and refreshments will be provided to all players during the
tournament.

Please write each player’s name and number on the other side of this paper, confirm that all players will be
attending, and submit it to Kanish Kancharla (9E) once completed.
