Title: Research on Social Media Usage
Background Information
Social media has changed the way we talk and share things with each other.
Websites and apps like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok let us connect with
friends, share pictures, and find out what’s happening in the world. Since
almost everyone uses social media today, it’s important to understand how
and why we use it. This helps businesses, schools, and families learn more
about its effects on our lives.
Purpose of the Research
The purpose of this research is to study how different people use social
media. By looking at what motivates them to use these platforms and how it
affects their lives, we hope to provide useful information for everyone,
including students and parents.
Target Respondents
We want to hear from a variety of people, including:
Different Age Groups, including Young teens (13-19), young adults (20-35),
and adults (36+).
Method of Investigation
To gather our information, we are using Microsoft Forms, which is an easy
online tool for creating surveys. The survey includes multiple choice
questions that allow us to find out how often people use social media and
which platforms they like best, open-ended questions: To let people share
their own thoughts and experiences, rating scales: To gauge how satisfied
people feel about their social media use. We will share the survey link
through emails and social media to reach many people.
