● Humans are surrounded with different types of
technologies claiming that it provides information;
television, smart phones, and internet devices.
However, do they all provide information or just
noise?
● Before the printed word, written word was
prevalent. Yet the intent to carry information has
always been present.
What is word?
➔ Word is defined in English grammar as
speech sound or the combination of it.
➔ It is also a representation in writing.
➔ Chaissan 2006 states that words are
informed because they carry information.
