Pros 2: Thank you MS. Apilido. Can you tell the court what
happened on the day your sister in law passed away.
Witness manghud : YES! It was around 6pm. I had just return
home from market when I found her.
Pros 2: you mentioned you were on the market
Witness manghud: I was there about 2 hours I left around 5pm.
Pros 2: And you returned home, what did you find?
Witness manghud: I went to the bathroom and I saw my sister in
law lying on the floor she wasn’t moving.
Pros 2: That must have been traumatic for you. Before you went
to the market did you notice anusual?
Witness manghud: Yes! actually I saw my brother accused at the
market he was buying a rope.
Pros 2: A rope? Can you describe what he looked like when you
saw him?
Witness manghud: He seemed……..Normal I guess. But I
thought it was strange because I didn’t know why he would need
a rope.
Pros 2: Did you spesk him that time?
Witness manghud: No, I didn’t I was in a hurry to get my
groceries.

the market buying a rope, is that correct?
Manghud: yes, that”s correct.
Def. 2: And now faraway were you when you saw him
Manghud; I was a few metter away, but I could see him clearly.
Def. 2: Did you notice if he was acting suspiciously or if he
seemed upset.
Manghud: No seems normal to me.
Def. 2: So you have no reason to believed that accused intended
to harm your sister-in-law is that correct?
Manghud: I don’t know what he was thinking I just found him.

occupation for the read?
Expert witness: Good morning , my name is DR and I am the
resident physician at the hospital.
Pros 2: Thank you doctor. Date person on authority on the body
of the victim, ist that correct?
Expert witness: Yes that is correct
Pros 2: Can you give the findings of your autopsy?
Expert witness: Generaly my findings include:

Pros 2: Based on your examination what did you determine to be
the cause of death
Expert witness: The cause of death was acute dilation of the
heart which I attribute heart failure
Pros 2: You mentioned that the heart failure was due to fright or
shock can you elaborate that?
Expert witness: Yes in my opinion the fright or shock experience
by the deceased likely due to the strangulation attempt,
contribute significantly to her heart failure.
Pros 2: Doctor was laura luja martin pregnant at the time of her
death?
Expert witness: Yes she was eight months pregnant
Pros 2: Was there any indication that the fetus has been expelled
at the time of her death?
Expert witness: No, there was no evidence of expulsion of the
fetus. It is my belief that the fetus was alive at the time of lauras
death.
Pros 2: Thank you, Doctor. Based on your medical expertise do
you believe that the actions of the defendant directly contribute at
lauras death?
Expert witness: Yes! I do hand the defendant not attempts to
strangle laura, she would not have experience the fright or shock
that led to her heart failure, therfor I conclude that the defendant
actions were a direct cause of her death.
