Blockchain, IoT, and AI in Education

The document discusses blockchain technology as a secure, decentralized digital ledger for processing transactions through steps like creation, verification, and consensus. It also explains the roles of cloud computing, communication protocols, and embedded systems in enabling IoT, highlighting their importance in data storage, device connectivity, and functionality. Additionally, it critiques the negative impacts of AI on education, including reduced critical thinking, lack of originality, increased academic dishonesty, decreased human interaction, privacy concerns, over-dependence on technology, and inequality in access.

Chapter number : 05

Long questions
&Answers

Q1: what is block chain technology describe in detail how

transaction are processed using block chain technology?
ANS: Blockchain Technology
Blockchain is a digital ledger that stores data in blocks
linked together in a chain. It is decentralized, secure, and
difficult to tamper with.

How Transactions Are Processed (Short Steps)

1. Transaction Created:
A user sends data or money.
2. Broadcast to Network:
The transaction is shared with all nodes.
3. Verification:
Nodes check if the transaction is valid.
4. Add to Block:
Valid transactions are grouped into a block.
5. Consensus:
Nodes agree the block is correct (using PoW, PoS,
etc.).
6. Block Added:
The block is attached to the blockchain.
7. Transaction Confirmed:
The transaction becomes permanent and secure.
Q2: briefly explain the role of following
technologies that enable IoT
a) cloud computing b)communication
protocols c) embedded system?
ANS: a) Cloud Computing
Cloud computing stores and processes IoT data on
remote servers. It provides large storage, fast processing,
and easy access. This allows IoT devices to send data to
the cloud and receive results instantly.

b) Communication Protocols
Communication protocols (like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, MQTT,
Zigbee) allow IoT devices to connect and share data.
They ensure devices communicate safely, reliably, and in
the correct format.

c) Embedded Systems
Embedded systems are small computers inside IoT
devices. They contain sensors, microcontrollers, and
software that collect data and control device functions.
They make IoT devices smart and able to work on their
own.
Q3: Criticize the negative impact of AI system in
the domain of education and learning of students?
ANS: Negative Impacts of AI on Education and Students
1. Reduced Critical Thinking
Students may rely too much on AI for answers,
which can weaken problem-solving and analytical
skills.
2. Lack of Originality
AI-generated assignments can reduce creativity
and discourage students from producing their own
ideas.
3. Academic Dishonesty
Easy access to AI tools can increase cheating,
plagiarism, and shortcuts in completing homework
or exams.
4. Decreased Human Interaction
Excessive use of AI replaces teacher–student
interaction, affecting communication skills,
confidence, and emotional learning.
5. Privacy Concerns
AI tools collect student data, which can be misused
or become a security risk if not protected properly.
6. Over-Dependence on Technology
Students might struggle without digital assistance,
making them less independent learners.
7. Inequality in Access
Not all students have equal access to AI tools,
causing a gap between those who can afford
technology and those who cannot.
