BrowserStack Developers Day Testathon
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
The FinStack Release Candidate is nearly launch-ready, but must clear a fast, modern quality
challenge. Your mission: complete any 4 of the 6 tasks— AI test generation, Percy visual checks ,
BrowserStack MCP validation, AI self-healing, accessibility audits, or parallel dashboards to prove
the Release candidate's full functionality, stability, and readiness for release.
IMPORTANT RULES
• Mission: Complete 4 of 6 missions
• Selection: Complete any 4 of 6 missions.
• Email Sign Up: User Non Organization Email for Testathon.
• Submissions: submission to be done via Squad Lead Email.

1. AI Test Management
Use the AI Agent to bootstrap test case development based on user stories.
INPUT: USER STORIES
US-01 Dashboard: Verify financial dashboard overview and Identify key metrics displayed.
US-02 Transactions: Navigate to Accounts page and verify transaction flow from one acount to another.
US-03 Loan: Verify Loan calculator functionality.
US-04 Auth: Validate login scenarios.
THE CHALLENGE:
Generate TestCases using BrowserStack TestCase Management AI.
Convert Any 2 TestCases into automated scripts using the Low-Code Authoring Agent and execute them on
Browserstack.

2. The Pixel-Perfect Guardian
🎨 CHALLENGE: CATCH THE "GHOST" VISUAL BUG
The Mission: Functional tests pass, but the UI has changed. Your goal is to use Percy to visually
catch a simulated regression in the FinStack Website.
EXECUTION PROTOCOL
The Baseline (Good State): Run Percy on the Login page
The Changed State: Click the "Toggle Button" on the Login Page.
The Capture: Capture a second Percy snapshot.
The Proof: Submit the Percy Dashboard link showing the red diffs (Visual Regression).

3. BrowserStack SDK with Cross-Browser Automation Agent
THE CHALLENGE:
Use the AI Agent to bootstrap automation test script development and integrate BrowserStack
using the SDK with the Cross-Browser Automation Agent.
Perform the Login Scenario using the Cross-Browser Automation Agent
Execute tests across multiple platforms (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android)
Submit GitHub repo and public build link as proof

4. The AI Self-Heal
THE CHALLENGE:
Prove BrowserStack's AI Self-Healing capability by running a script against a changed DOM
without updating selectors. You can either use Automate or Low Code Automation.
Create a functional login automation script
Break it by clicking the "Toggle Button" on Login Page
Enable Self-Healing and re-run to verify the healed locator
Submit public session link showing "Healed" badge

6. Test Failure Analysis agent
THE CHALLENGE:
Use BrowserStack's Test Failure Analysis agent to debug and analyze failed test cases with AI-
powered root cause analysis.
Trigger a failed test case in your automation suite
Use AI RCA to get detailed failure analysis
Review AI-generated insights including error summary, log evidence, and suggested fixes
Submit publicly shareable report URL showing the AI analysis
STEPS
1. Trigger a failed test case in your automation suite (any framework).
2. Ensure BrowserStack AI is enabled (Owner/Admin setting).
3. Go to the Automation Dashboard → Test Listing.
4. Pick any failed test and click "Debug with AI" or "View AI RCA."
5. Review the AI-generated results:
