" When attempting to comprehend biological processes, I constantly find


myself asking this question. However, I am consistently let down by the response. "You will
learn about it in the future" or "That is just how it is" don't truly satisfy my thirsty curiosity. My
educational background, participation in stimulating research projects, internship experience, and desire
for a future in academic research have motivated me to apply to the Ph.D. in Biomedical Science
program at the University of Connecticut

I was surrounded by dynamic ecosystems from a young age growing up in Sunamganj, a place
known for its haor wetlands and natural beauty. Fortunately, that helped me to take the decision to
select Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering as the subject of my undergraduate major at
Jahangirnagar University. After four years of study, my dedication was demonstrated as I ranked among
the department's top three students, holding a cumulative GPA of 3.58 out of 4.00. My academic
performance earned me a merit scholarship that fully covered my undergraduate tuition fees from 2019
to 2025.
I was surrounded by dynamic ecosystems from a young age growing up in Sunamganj, a place
known for its haor wetlands and natural beauty. My interest in biology was sparked by
experiencing the intimate connection between living things and their surroundings, which
established the groundwork for my scientific endeavors.
