Iman – Faith or belief in Islam
Key Vocabulary Belief – Trust or confidence in something or someone
Articles of Faith – The six things every Muslim must believe in
Angels (Malaika) – Beings created by Allah who obey His commands
Prophets (Rusul) – Messengers sent by Allah to guide people
Divine Books – Books revealed by Allah, like the Quran, Torah, and Gospel
Qadar – Destiny; belief that everything happens by the will of Allah
Akhirah – The life after death; the Day of Judgment
Tawheed – Belief in the oneness of Allah
Character – A person's behavior and moral qualities (how you act based on faith)
