 Iman – Faith or belief in Islam
Key Vocabulary  Belief – Trust or confidence in something or someone

Articles of Faith – The six things every Muslim must believe in


 Angels (Malaika) – Beings created by Allah who obey His commands
 Prophets (Rusul) – Messengers sent by Allah to guide people
 Divine Books – Books revealed by Allah, like the Quran, Torah, and Gospel
 Qadar – Destiny; belief that everything happens by the will of Allah
 Akhirah – The life after death; the Day of Judgment
 Tawheed – Belief in the oneness of Allah
 Character – A person's behavior and moral qualities (how you act based on faith)
