Individual Activity: Digital Poster/Infographic Challenge
Objective:
To allow each student to independently showcase creativity and
historical understanding by visually presenting the 19th-century
world that shaped Rizal’s ideas and writings.
Directions for Students:

1. Create Your Own Digital Poster/Infographic
o Use Canva (recommended, free online) or PowerPoint or
any app you want to use.
o Work must be individually made.
2. Required Content:
o Your poster must show at least one example for each of
the four aspects:
Social: (e.g., class system, role of ilustrados,
discrimination).
Political: (e.g., Spanish colonial rule, Gomburza
execution, nationalism).
Economic: (e.g., Industrial Revolution, trade, cash-
crop economy).
Intellectual: (e.g., liberalism, Enlightenment,
scientific progress).
*Note: Iisang poster lang po na ipinapakita at least one in
each four aspects.
3. Design Guidelines:
o Use short text, keywords, or short phrases (avoid long
paragraphs).
o Add images, icons, or symbols to make it more engaging.
o Title your work: “The World Rizal Lived In”.
o Ensure clarity, neatness, and originality.
4. Submission:
o Save your work as PDF or JPEG.
o Upload it to the assigned folder (Google Classroom/Email
as instructed).
Rubrics (100 points total):
Content Accuracy (30 pts): Facts are correct and relevant.
Creativity & Visual Appeal (25 pts): Eye-catching and original
design.
Organization & Clarity (20 pts): Info is structured and easy to
understand.
Connection to Rizal (15 pts): Shows how the 19th century
influenced Rizal.
Completeness & Effort (10 pts): Meets requirements and shows
effort.
