Our client is a technology company focused on locating and developing talent to compete in the global marketplace by
offering technology to serve both employers and future employees by making outsourcing talent easy and efficient. They
offer remote services across the globe with most of their clientele based in the USA. They have retained our services to
support hiring process for a Salesforce Developer to be based at their HQ within the beautiful and green Nyeri Town in
Central Kenya
Job Purpose/Your Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Salesforce Developer to join the team, the ideal candidate will have a minimum
of 2 years of experience in Salesforce development and hold at least one Salesforce certification. You will be
responsible for designing, developing, and deploying customized solutions that support business requirements and
drive organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Development & Customization: Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce,
Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other Salesforce technologies.
2. Integration: Implement and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other systems using APIs and middleware
tools.
3. Configuration: Configure Salesforce objects, workflows, validation rules, flows, process builders, and other platform
features to support business processes.
4. Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve technical issues, ensuring optimal system performance.
5. Data Management: Perform data migrations, data cleansing, and data validation using Salesforce tools like Data Loader.
6. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation for system design, code changes, and processes.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, administrators, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and
deliver solutions that align with business needs.
Required Key Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 2 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
At least one Salesforce certification, such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (preferred) or any relevant
certification
Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture and security best practices.
Experience with Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, web services, or middleware tools.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.
Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
