Good day. I’m writing you an essay about myself to apply a job in your good office.

I believe this
is a good opportunity for me to let you know how interested I am to join you and for a career change
since I am self employed for quite some time now.

I came from a poor family where discipline and respect were taught at all times.
Being that poor was not a hindrance for me and my brothers to attain and reach our dreams and
ambitions in life. I graduated from Central Philippine University because my parents did everything so
that all of us, as their children can have the best education and success in the future.

I attained an excellent education at CPU, where in I


developed a high standard for myself, in my jobs and in my everyday life. I’ve worked in a call center
industry for 10 years and handles different products and accounts. I was able to do some basic
accounting, a technician and customer care representative or specialist and email specialist. In these jobs
that I had, you’ll encounter different people with different attitudes and personality. Because of this I’ve
been a good listener which means no arguments, I’ve also learned that empathy is one of the most
important things in our everyday lives. I was also the top agent every month in 2 of the accounts that I
had, where I was awarded and was given incentives. I also had the 100% reliability which means perfect
attendance because I still worked even if I don’t feel well.

When 2017 came, I’ve decided to stop working for a while, because my family needs me. I
managed my family’s farm, construction works, process paperworks and check for my parents' health.
People even call me family’s administrator because I manage everything. A family’s front-liner, during
pandemic. This new job is not so different and not so new to me since I’ve been dealing with people
from all walks of life in call centers. The only difference is now, I’m the boss who owns my time, I manage
my own time, and no schedules to follow. I’m enjoying my life now and for me the best time of my life.

I’ve been documenter for KALAHI-CIDSS for 2 years. I was thankful being part of
the program. I was able to step out of my comfort zone and had a career growth. This is something I look
forward to, and I’m sending you my resume for new experiences, new environment.
