Dear sir:

I’ve heard that your institution, Christian Samaritan School is looking for an English teacher for Senior
High School from a Facebook post of one of your faculty. With that, I am interested in applying for the
said position.

I recently graduated and finished my degree, Bachelor of Secondary Education, Major in English from
Tagoloan Community College and was recognized as one of its outstanding students. In the past four
years, I have worked hard to develop my skills in communication and being fluent in the English
language. The experiences I gained while studying has helped me to improve my self-confidence and to
deliver more than the expectations people have for me. I was able to equip the knowledge that is needed
for my chosen field which I know would be of great help if I am to be part of your institution, Christian
Samaritan Health Services and Technical School Inc., a school that is known for its quality education.

Having 2-months of experience as a Pre-Service teacher, I have practiced my skills in teaching and in
dealing with different types of students. This experience also taught me to be flexible and to stay
dedicated in the field. I learned to adapt and to work with different people with different experiences and
beliefs.

I aim to motivate my students to become better person not just for themselves but also for the people of
their community. I will let my students reach their full potential with my guidance and support and help
them to develop skills that they already possess and yet to discover in their selves. And to be with you in
preparing students for a brighter future.
