Repeated Addition for arrays
What is Repeated Addition for arrays?
In arrays, repeated addition helps us find the total number
of objects by adding equal groups.
An array is a set of objects arranged in rows and columns.
Each row has the same number of objects.
We can use repeated addition to find how many objects
there are in all.

 Row: Objects in a line across.

 Column: Objects in a line up and down.

Example:

This array has 3 rows and 3 columns.

Each row has 3 stars:
3+3+3=9
Total = 9 stars.
