REFLECTION
• What have you learned about the purpose of NSTP in the lives of young Filipinos?
For me NSTP was created to help prepare the youth in serving and providing the nation
a developed ethical, spiritual, environmental and service-oriented values. This program
aimed to enhance the youth through military training, literacy training and civic welfare
training.
• Which NSTP component speaks most to your values, and why?
The NSTP component that speaks the most to me is Civic Welfare Training Service
(CWTS). I believe that helping for the betterment of life to Filipinos would give me a sense of
happiness and relief knowing I made their life a little better.
• What does “service to the nation" mean to you personally?
“Service to the nation" for means to be public servant. Serving the people starts with
being an honest person, one who is true in what they advocate. That can help change the life
of not only the rich but also the poor.
• How can you apply the principles of RA 9163 in your daily student life?
As a student, I will apply this principle through applying the knowledge I will gain in this
program. I will use my experience in real life situation and will always uphold the values and
principles I learn.
