Human psychology is the scientific study of
the mind and behavior. It explores

drive human behavior, using research
methods such as experiments,
observations, and case studies.
Theories of Psychology (e.g., behaviorism,
cognitive psychology, psychoanalysis)

anxiety, depression, schizophrenia)
Emotional and Social Behavior (e.g., stress,

MAJOR THEORIES
IN PSYCHOLOGY
1. Psychoanalytic Theory (Sigmund Freud)
– Explores the unconscious mind,
childhood experiences, and
how they shape personality.
2. Behaviorism (B.F. Skinner, John B.
Watson) – Focuses on observable
behaviors and how they are influenced by
reinforcement and punishment.
3. Cognitive Theory (Jean Piaget, Aaron
Beck) – Studies mental processes
like memory,
problem-solving, and
decision-making.
4. Humanistic Psychology (Carl Rogers,
Abraham Maslow) – Emphasizes
personal growth,
self-actualization, and individual
potential.
5. Biopsychology (Neuroscience
Approach) – Examines how the brain,
hormones, and genetics
influence behavior.
[Link] Science of Memory and
Forgetting – Why we
remember some things
and forget others.
2. Cognitive Biases and
Decision-Making – How our
brains trick us into making
irrational choices.
3. Dream Analysis and the
Unconscious Mind – Exploring
what dreams reveal about
our inner thoughts.
SURVEY
Our purpose for conducting the survey was
to know about human psychology
QUESTIONS LIKE
1 Do you follow regular
meal and sleep cycle?
2 How often do you feel
anxious or worried? etc…

CONCLUSION
Human psychology is a vast and dynamic
field that helps us understand the
complexities of the
human mind and
behavior.
Understanding psychological
processes such as perception,
memory,
emotion, and motivation allows us to
navigate daily life more effectively. The
With increasing awareness about mental
health, psychology plays a crucial
role in providing strategies for stress
management, coping mechanisms, and
emotional
resilience.
As research in psychology continues to
advance, we gain deeper insights into
human behavior, leading to better
interventions, therapies, and solutions for
psychological
challenges.
GROUP REFLECTION
NANDINI
By this project, it helped me analyze human
interactions, emotions, and cognitive
processes. One of the most surprising
concepts in psychology is cognitive
biases. It’s fascinating how the brain takes
mental shortcuts that can lead to
irrational decisions.I’ve also developed
better stress management techniques,
such as mindfulness and
reframing negative thoughts.
KASHISH
Learning about psychology has made me
more reflective and open-minded. I’ve
become better at recognizing emotional
triggers and understanding different
perspectives.I’d love to explore topics like
motivation and resilience further, as
they play a huge role in
success and well-being.
GROUP REFLECTION
1. What were some of the most interesting discoveries I
made while working on this project—about the problem,
about myself, and about others?
I discovered how complex the human mind is, learned that
I am more thoughtful and curious, and understood that
people think and react differently in similar situations.
2. What were some of my most challenging moments and
what made them so?
Understanding psychological terms was challenging
because many concepts were new and abstract.
3. What were some of my most powerful learning moments
and what made them so?
Learning about emotions was powerful because it helped
me relate psychology to real life.
4. What is the most important thing I learned personally?
I learned that understanding the human mind helps
develop empathy and self-awareness.
5. Did I use the right choice of tools/procedures in my
process? Could I have done things differently? How?
Yes, I used the right tools, but I could have managed my
time better and started earlier.
6. What moments made me most proud of my efforts?
Completing the project clearly and on time made me most
proud.
7. How often did I need to discuss things with my group
members or change my plan of action? Why?
I discussed ideas whenever I felt confused, which helped
improve clarity.
8. When did I realize that I had come up with my final best
idea or solution?
I realized it during revision when all points connected
smoothly.
9. How do I feel my work contributes to real-world
situations and problems?
My work helps people understand behavior and emotions
in daily life.
10. What most got in the way of my progress, if anything?
Limited time and complex concepts sometimes slowed my
progress.
GROUP REFLECTION
11. How well did I and my team communicate overall?
Communication was clear, respectful, and helpful
throughout the project.
12. When did my collaborative communications fall short
of the group’s expectations, if ever?
At times, communication was slow due to different
schedules.
13. What were some things my teammates did that helped
me learn or overcome obstacles?
They shared ideas, explained difficult points, and gave
useful feedback.
14. How did I help others during this process? How do I
feel I may have hindered others?
I helped by explaining concepts, though I could improve
by listening more.
15. Were my milestones and goals mostly met, and how
much did I deviate from them, if any?
Most goals were met with only minor changes in planning.
16. What did I learn were my greatest strengths and
biggest areas for improvement?
My strengths were research and writing, while time
management needs improvement.
17. What would I do differently if I were to approach the
same problem again?
I would start earlier and plan my work more carefully.
18. What’s the one thing about myself I would like to work
to improve?
I want to improve my confidence in expressing ideas
clearly.
19. How can I better support and encourage my
teammates on future projects?
I can encourage open discussion and appreciate
everyone’s ideas.
20. How will I use what I’ve learned in the future?
I will use this learning to understand people better and
improve communication skills.
