RECEIVING AREA
- Located at the upper-left section of the main warehouse complex.
- Trucks unload incoming goods here.
- Items undergo initial checking, verification, and documentation before
entering the facility.
- Pallets and containers are staged for the next step (put-away).
PUT-AWAY ZONE
- Positioned at the left side of the warehouse, directly connected to the receiving
area.
- Goods are moved from receiving into their designated storage locations.
- Forklifts and handlers organize items for efficient placement across the facility.
STORAGE AREA
- Found at the upper-right portion of the complex, containing racks, shelves,
and stacked pallets.
- Houses bulk inventory, raw materials, and replenishment stock.
- Items are systematically arranged for easy retrieval during order fulfillment.
ORDER PICKING ZONE
- Located at the center-lower portion of the warehouse layout, close to both
storage and packing areas.
- Staff pick ordered items from shelves or pallets.
- Designed for fast movement, efficient picking routes, and minimal congestion.
PACKING & SHIPPING AREA
- Situated at the lower-right area of the complex, beside the order picking zone.
- Picked items are packed, labeled, quality-checked, and prepared for delivery.
- Outbound trucks and vans load final packages for dispatch to customers or
branches.
RETURNS HANDLING AREA
- Shown at the bottom-left side, positioned slightly separate from the main
warehouse for proper processing.
- Returned items are inspected, sorted, and evaluated for restocking, repair, or
disposal.
- Keeps returned materials from mixing with regular inbound shipments to avoid
errors.
