Goa Law School Dress Code Guidelines

As per the directives of Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Government of Goa, all the

students of B.A. LL.B., and LL. B (Degree) are required to compulsorily follow the BLACK
(PANT) and WHITE (SHIRT) dress code specified below. Dress code specifications:
The following shall be the dress code
For Men Plain white colour, collared shirt with long/half sleeves & plain non-textured Black
pants. For Women Plain white colour, collared Shirt/ Kurti or a Kurta with Long / Three
Quarters Half sleeves and plain Black pant/ Leggings/Churidar/Salwar without dupatta or
with plain Black Dupatta. Or a white colour shirt, with plain black skirt with length below the
knee.
Pls. note: The Uniform should be strictly plain, without any design. Soiled, ripped and
distressed clothes are strictly prohibited. Footwear: Students should wear plain black colour
footwear

👔 For Men
✅ DOs:
 Wear a plain white collared shirt (half or full sleeves).
 Pair with plain, non-textured black pants.
 Avoid jeans, ripped, or faded pants
 Ensure clothes are clean, well-ironed, and properly fitted.
 Wear plain black shoes (formal or simple lace-up).
❌ DON’Ts:
 Don’t wear shirts with patterns, stripes, logos, or designs.
 Avoid jeans, ripped, or faded pants.
 No sneakers, sports shoes, or sandals.
 Avoid bright or coloured accessories (ties, belts, etc.).

👚 For Women
✅ DOs:
 Wear a plain white collared shirt, kurti, or kurta with long or three-quarter sleeves.
 Pair with plain black pants, churidar, leggings, or salwar.
 Optional: plain black dupatta if desired.
 Alternatively: white shirt with plain black skirt (length below the knee).
 Footwear: plain black shoes or flats.
❌ DON’Ts:
 No printed, embroidered, or designed clothing.
 Avoid transparent or short garments.
 No colored dupattas, scarves, or accessories.
 Avoid soiled or crumpled uniforms.
👞 General Rules
 Uniform must be strictly plain — no patterns or textures.
 Soiled, ripped, or distressed clothes are not allowed.
 Footwear: Only plain black shoes permitted (no sneakers, no heels, no open-toe sandals).
