another round of applause for our MC — I think they deserve an award for “Most
Enthusiastic Human Microphone.”
Now, it’s time for what we’ve all been waiting for — the Clash of the Titans, or
should I say, Clash of the Student Council Candidates!
1 Introducing the Candidates

Please welcome our three pairs of candidates for Student Council Leaders and their
Vice Leaders!
When I call your name, come forward with your best smile — this is your moment of
glory.
Candidate 1 and their Vice!
(pause for applause)
Candidate 2 and their Vice!
(pause for applause)
Candidate 3 and their Vice!
(pause for applause)
Look at them — brave, confident, and possibly a little bit nervous… but don’t worry,
we don’t bite!
Everyone, let’s give them all another huge round of applause!
2️⃣Debate Rules and Warm-Up
Before we start, let’s set some quick rules so we don’t accidentally start a verbal
wrestling match.
Each candidate will:
Pick one question randomly.
Have 30 seconds to think — that’s just enough time to pretend you’re calm.
Then 90 seconds to answer.
After that, we’ll have 150 seconds for back-and-rebuttal with the other two
candidates.
Audience — your job is simple: listen, cheer, and don’t throw snacks at anyone, no
matter how passionately you agree or disagree.
Alright, candidates — ready? Deep breath in… and out. Let’s do this!
🧩 ROUND 1 — Candidate 1
Candidate 1, please pick your question from the magical Box of Destiny!
(Hand over question. Let them read it silently.)
You now have 30 seconds to think.
(Play light background music or make playful small talk with the audience, e.g.,)
“So, how’s everyone doing today? Who do you secretly think will win? Don’t worry,
I won’t tell.”
Time’s up! Candidate 1, your 90 seconds start… now!
(After the answer)
Thank you, Candidate 1! Now, it’s time for the friendly intellectual sparring session!
First, Candidate 2, you have 150 seconds to discuss, challenge, or defend your point.
Then, Candidate 3, your turn for 150 seconds to engage with Candidate 1.
Keep it sharp, keep it civil, and keep it fun. This isn’t a boxing ring — no need for
gloves.

Candidate 2, it’s your turn to pick a question from the same Box of Destiny.
(Repeat same structure)
30 seconds to think…
(Playfully:) “You may consult your vice, your instincts, or the universe — whatever
helps.”
Then 90 seconds to answer, followed by rebuttals:
150 seconds with Candidate 1.
150 seconds with Candidate 3.

Closing Statements and Yel-Yel
Now that we’ve heard your ideas, it’s time for your 2-minute closing statement and
your Yel-Yel — your personal rallying cry that shows your spirit and teamwork!
Let’s start with Candidate 1, followed by Candidate 2, and then Candidate 3.
Candidates, this is your mic-drop moment — show us your passion, your creativity,
and your energy!

lead our student council!
