★ PATCHING GUIDE ★

Blinding White 2 uses XDelta or Hackdex to patch its files into the game. This
process essentially moves all of the new files from the mod into your pre-existing
copy of Pokémon White 2!
=========================================================
✦ THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND: ✦
- Make sure the ROM you're inputting has already been decrypted, otherwise these
methods will not work.
- This romhack may get patches and bug fixes, so if you want to stay up to date,
keep that in mind! I always ping in my discord server every time there's a new
patch, and you can report bugs and provide feedback there too!

- Try to avoid using OneDrive or other cloud services when trying to patch your
game, as that can cause issues! If you keep your ROM in restricted folders like
Documents, you won't be able to access them unless you grant your system
permission.
- If you have trouble patching the game with the XDelta, try using this website

All you have to do is provide a base White 2 ROM, then place it into the search
engine to create a new NDS file!

✦ A. PATCH THE GAME WITH THE ROM DIRECTLY ✦
✦ If you have an American version of Pokémon White 2 on your computer that's dumped
as an .nds file, this method may be faster.
1. Open XDelta, then go to the tab that says "Apply Patch".
2. Place the [Link] file into the patch section. Then, place your
ROM where it says "Source File".
3. Assign it an .nds file name, as that's where the copy of Blinding White 2 will
be dumped! (I recommend saving this to another file in case you need to repeat the
process!)
4. Now, the game should be ready to play!

✦ B. USE TWO PATCHES ✦
✦ If you experience issues with patching a ROM of White 2 directly, I've provided a
blank .nds file to use as a basis if you want to try it a different way.
1. Download the [Link] and [Link] files.
2. Take your ROM of Pokémon White 2 and go to the "Create Patch" screen. Place the
[Link] file in the "Original File" section and place the ROM in the "Modified
File" section. Then set a destination for your xDelta patch that's easily
accessible.
3. The previous step has created a patch for xDelta that you can use as the basis
for the ROM, in case patching it directly to your game doesn't work. On the "Apply
Patch" screen, place your new xDelta file in the "Patch" field and your [Link]
in the Source File field. Then, set a destination for your ROM.
4. Now, repeat this step, but this time use the [Link] file as your
patch and the nds file you just created as your Source File. This will create the
modified version of your ROM and may help with compatibility issues.
