Why I Joined the Church Workforce

Since I was in secondary school, I have always had this deep desire to serve God and grow spiritually
when I get to the university. I imbibed my mother's culture of serving God anywhere and I was able to
do so by the grace of God in secondary school. I felt at peace and I was happy to be busy with God's
work.

Being part of the workforce gives me an opportunity to use my time, energy, and talent to support the
work of God and help others. No matter how busy my schedule, I don't want to be busy doing
something if it's not God's work.

Joining the workforce allows me to be more committed, disciplined, and connected to the church
community. I would be able to join other children of God to bring others to the light of the Gospel. By
joining the workforce, I believe I can grow in grace, faith and be a vessel unto honour in God's vineyard.
